The National Women’s Council of Ireland invites you to join us at a celebratory event to launch its new youth project, The Y Factor, taking place on Friday 1st February 2013, 5-7pm at the City Wall Woodquay Venue (invitation attached). The evening promises fun, drama, music, poetry and refreshments and the opportunity to meet other young women and men who believe in women’s equality. Come along and see what The Y Factor is doing and find out how you can get involved and have your say.
The event will feature a short film on young people’s views on women’s equality, a live performance of rap artist Temper-Mental MissElayneous, MC Una Mullally … and other surprises!!

The Y Factor project is an initiative of the National Women’s Council of Ireland which aims to empower and support young people to advocate for women’s equality by working with young people through schools, youth groups, young feminist organisations and via social media platforms.
