If you would like to hear the stories of how others and how they came to consider themselves non-religious and perhaps share your own story over some tea and coffee then you might be interested in attending our next event – Pathways to Humanism. This informal event will provide a space for members to discuss their journey towards faithlessness, the struggles and the highlights and what this part of their lives means to them. All over tea and some homemade cookies. We’ll be kicking off at 12 noon on Sunday the 25th at the Quay Co-op Meeting room on Cove St. and will probably rap up at around 1.30. Here is a link to the facebook event page.
Here’s a reminder of a date for your diaries – our Winter Festival potluck that will take on December 16th, besides general merriment we will also be having a toy collection on the same date for the ISPCC.
Finally, the Cork Atheists are holding an event entitled “Separation of Church and State” at which Indian author Sana Edamaruku, President of Rationalist International, as well as Micheal Nugent and Jane Donnelly of Atheist Ireland will be speaking. The event will be held in the Gresham Metropole Hotel at 3pm on Sunday 25th. You can find a link to the facebook event page here.
