Want to be a leader for progressive change?

In Autumn 2010, I had the great pleasure to participate in the Centre for Progressive Change’s Leadership Programme.  Facilitated by Senator Katherine Zappone and Dr Ann Louise Gilligan, the programme was profoundly life changing for me in thinking about the qualities of leadership I most admired and desired, the importance of self-awareness and exploration in becoming the type of person I want to be, and the amazing growth, motivation and vitality that can come from opportunities to share experiences and knowledge with other people dedicated to progressive change in society.  It also gave me the opportunity to meet a group of highly inspirational people, especially Senator Zappone and Dr Gilligan, who are ideal role models for living a life that promotes social change.

The 2012 Programme has been officially announced and will be commencing on 24th February.  More information about the programme and how to apply are available here: http://www.progressivechange.ie/service/training_leaders_for_change/

I simply cannot recommend this programme enough to anyone who is or is interested in becoming a change-maker.  If you are interested and considering applying, or have any questions about my experience on the programme, please feel free to contact me (Jen) at: corkfeminista@gmail.com.
